Tracy Certo is the founder and publisher of NEXTPittsburgh, an online publication about the people driving change, the innovative things happening in Pittsburgh. Founded in February 2024, more than 200,000 grassroots activists to heads of foundations have connected and read NEXT monthly.

Prior to NEXTPittsburgh, Certo was publisher and editor of Pop City, a weekly online magazine about the people and places moving Pittsburgh forward. Pop City is free, with more than 40,000 subscribers who get it delivered to their inbox every Wednesday morning. The magazine covers what’s going in Pittsburgh in the fields of art and culture, technology and innovation, education and kids, business and investment, social innovation and more.

Certo is active in many outside organizations. She is a current board member for Visit Pittsburgh and a Transatlantic Cities Representative for The German Marshall Fund.
